[dot] Foster Homes Needed! BHRG is currently boarding many basset hounds because our foster homes are full! Summer is a tough time for rescue with foster families traveling and full kennels. If you've fostered before and took a break or if you've ever considered fostering, we need you now. First-timers, please check out this info about fostering and complete the fostering application there. Returning fosters, please e-mail our Foster Coordinator at fostercoordinator@bhrg.org.

The raffle is September 21st for a beautiful 1961 Corvette Roadster. 50% of the proceeds go to GABR and 50% to BHRG - 100% for the hounds! Special Spotlight Hound
 
Thurgood is the Spotlight Hound for June. Thurgood has completed treatment for heartworms and is healthy and ready for adoption. He is housetrained and minds well. Thurgood is generally laid back, quiet, and gentle. But at the same time, he also can be playful. Thurgood really needs a canine friend in his forever home. He loves to give and get attention.

And I was angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment and then He spoke softly.
