[dot] We Need Your Help at the Bash! [dot]
 
Please consider donating up to 2 hours of your time to help make our Bash a success.
 
As is the case with everything in rescue, this is a volunteer effort, and we need help to make this the best Bash ever! We love our bassets and we appreciate your help, but everyone (volunteers, trustees, guests) must pay registration. This is a fundraiser after all!
 
Read about each volunteer opportunity and then check which one(s) you're interested in. Please pick at least two choices, so if one opportunity fills up, we can schedule you for another.



 
Set Up or Take Down
At least 6 volunteers are needed to help from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. We’ll be setting up tents & tables, hanging banners, setting up the Raffle tables, and unloading vehicles filled with Bash stuff.
 
At least 6 clean-up volunteers are needed from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (or whenever we finish) to help clean up our food, load vehicles, check the field for trash, and take down tents and tables.
 
Trash Duty
At least 2 trash duty volunteers are needed from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and then from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (gloves provided) to assist keeping the trash cans empty.
 
Registration
6 volunteers are needed to help at the registration table where all of our Bash guests will check-in. Registration shifts lasts from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
 
Merchandise
4 volunteers are needed to help sell BHRG merchandise and hand out pre-ordered Bash shirts. We need 2 volunteers for each shift. Shifts are 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
Raffle Table
4 volunteers are needed to help man our Raffle table. You’ll be selling raffle tickets and handling this very busy Bash event. 2 volunteers are needed from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2 more are needed from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
Drinks
2 volunteers are needed to handle the selling of canned drinks for $1 each. 1 volunteer is needed from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and another is needed from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
Games
We have two shifts needed to help with games - 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - and need 3 volunteers for each.
 
Adoptions
We need 8 volunteers to assist at our Adoption Booth. 4 volunteers are needed from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and another 4 are needed from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Duties include chatting with potential adopters, walking hounds for potty breaks, scooping poop, refilling water bowls, and assisting Lisa with paperwork.
 
Transportation
If you are available to help transport our kenneled hounds to/from the Bash, we need you!
